Elizabeth & Lincoln's Positano Wedding

It seems only natural that Elizabeth and Lincoln decided to host their destination wedding in Positano, as the San Pietro Hotel had been an important vacation destination for Lincoln's family for many many years. Their familiarity and the significance of Positano and Italy for their families shone throughout their wedding weekend. It was beautiful to photograph this important occasion and be a part of their beautiful wedding celebration.

Day 1 - The day began with Elizabeth and Lincoln's intimate Catholic ceremony at the beautiful little chapel on the hotel San Pietro grounds. They were joined by close family members, then later that night all their guests gathered in the centre of Positano for a rehearsal dinner at the beautiful historic Palazzo Murat. A cocktail hour was held in the courtyard followed by speeches and dinner at the Al Palazzo restaurant.

Day 2 - Wedding day, preparations began and there was an electric quality to the air. After all the anticipation and planning the wedding day is always charged with a special energy.

It all leads up to this moment, the first time you get to see the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with on your wedding day. Elizabeth and Lincoln did a first look followed by their portrait and family photos, to allow more time to enjoy cocktail hour with their family and friends after their sea side garden ceremony.

Guests arrived by boat from the centre of Positano for a sea side garden ceremony and reception at the famous Carlino beach club restaurant.

A wedding tradition from Elizabeth's family, Nonna got up to sing an Italian song for her granddaughter's wedding day.

And one last surprise for the bride and groom, a spectacular firework display as they cut the cake.
