Dayn reached out to me after another photographer had cancelled on him. This is a story I have heard many times over the years, especially for proposals, and something that I never do personally. If I make a time commitment for someone, I honour that commitment. No one needs the added stress of wondering if their photographer is going to show up to capture a major moment for them. I was more than happy to work with Dayn to work out the logistics of the shoot and to create the exact experience he envisioned for his proposal to Taylor at Villa Rufolo in Ravello.
These two, high school sweethearts, were obviously destined to be together. Taylor later told me they had already discussed when it might happen, that Dayn would ask Tylor to marry him, but she had absolutely NO idea it was going to be that sunny day in Ravello.

To throw Taylor off track, we met for a couples "photoshoot" at the entrance of the villa, but after some warm up photos we reached the Belvedere terrace and Dayn got down on one knee to ask Taylor to spend forever together. Just the two of them and a beautiful view for their future together.
