Nicole & Kenny's Runaway Elopement To Amalfi

I don't think I have ever been contacted and booked to shoot a wedding so close to a couple's wedding day (less than a week!), but I was more than happy to have ended up being part of Nicole and Kenny's Amalfi coast elopement. They were a fantastic couple to photograph and get to know. If there has been a theme of the 2021 wedding season it is that anything can happen, just go with the flow and enjoy all that life has to offer. This is of course especially easy when a couple chooses a wedding venue like the Hotel Santa Caterina in Amalfi which is by far one of the most beautiful and relaxing hotels on the Amalfi coast. I also loved how they incorporated pampass grass into their decorations a definite style trend of this year, but it was fun to see it used in the Santa Caterina garden, and the toned down colour looked perfect with the golden hour light on the Amalfi duomo. This pandemic has turned everyone's plans upside down more than once, and right now I just truly feel grateful to be able to do what I love again, photograph and meet beautiful couples from all over the world here from my home the Amalfi coast.
