It is one of my favourite Amalfi Coast venues. From the lush garden filled with citrus trees and brightly coloured flowers, to the magical seaside terrace with fairy lights and a magnificent view of Amalfi, it is hard not to fall in love with this venue.
Elina & Tomer chose Amalfi as their 3rd and final destination on their wedding marathon which included three ceremonies in three different countries! Wow!
In fact by the time they reached their third celebration they were super relaxed and fun to shoot, having already had so much wedding practice.
Note to all brides and grooms - it is a good idea to book an engagement shoot or a pre-wedding session so you will feel more comfortable in front of the camera. The more relaxed you are on your wedding day the more fun you will have.
We started the day at their hotel in Amalfi which was in close walking distance to all the best spots in Amalfi. Adding to the good vibes of the day, while we were taking pictures outside a local beach side restaurant, the staff generously offered Elina and Tomer glasses of prosecco to toast their special day.
A few drops of light rain made us take shelter at the Amalfi Duomo. Always a favourite spot of mine for it's bold geometric shapes and heavenly light.
Then it was off to the Santa Caterina to greet guests and begin the garden ceremony. Applause exploded as the groom smashed the glass, the Neapolitan band began to play and a sunset rainbow concluded the ceremony.
A gypsy jazz band, dancing, and cocktails followed under the fairy lights on the seaside terrace. Then a delicious dinner at the restaurant 'Al Mare', cutting of the cake, drinks, DJ and more more dancing finished the prefect Amalfi Coast wedding day.
