The wind created an exciting and romantic atmosphere on the water -crisp, refreshing, and full of anticipation. With Positano’s pastel buildings clinging to the cliffs and the sun had just dipped behind the Monte Lattari mountains, the scene was straight out of a dream.
Justin had been planning this moment for months. With the sparkling waters of the Amalfi Coast as the backdrop, he chose a sunset boat cruise to ask the most important question of his life. As the sun went down behind the mountains, Justin dropped to one knee. Diana, caught completely by surprise, of course said “Yes", her face glowing in the warm light. Diana couldn’t stop gazing at her beautiful new ring, her smile wide, eyes full of wonder at the life they were about to begin together.
In the midst of the romance, there was also a lighthearted moment that perfectly captured their playful dynamic. Justin, swept up in the wind and the waves, suggested they recreate the iconic Titanic boat pose. Diana burst out laughing and flat-out refused, shaking her head as Justin spread his arms wide at the bow of the boat anyway. It was a moment of joy and laughter, adding just the right amount of fun and silliness to an unforgettable evening.
After the emotional proposal, and a prosecco toast to celebrate, the boat gently returned to the Positano pier. We continued capturing the joy and intimacy of the moment with panoramic photos along the Positano beach. The newly engaged couple strolled hand-in-hand, pausing often to take in the view, and their new beginning.
As twilight settled in, we made our way to Hotel Marincanto, a romantic cliffside hotel known for its sweeping terraces and iconic views. There, surrounded by the soft glow and twinkling lights of the coast, we captured the final frames of a day they’ll never forget.
From the boat to the beach to the balcony, every image tells a piece of Justin and Diana’s love story. It was an honor to witness and document such a heartfelt and beautiful milestone for this fantastic couple.
